In need of some Christmas cheer, Scott and I ventured on over to the capital district (area where all of the old palaces and hawaiian mansions are at), the only place in Honolulu where we can find any Christmas cheer.
There was a little children's fair, lots of lights, a malasada truck, and of course, the Shaka Santa.
It was a fun little night that made things feel a little more like christmas. We felt a little chilled at 71 degrees, got a whiff of some pine (mmm), and the night ended off with a cold rain.
And that's as close to Christmas as hawaii can get.
Enjoy some pictures.
